AI Product Development Services — from prompt to production at enterprise scale

AI product development is turning a model into a product customers pay for: reliably, at scale, with unit economics that work. I architected and built AccioMatrix, a fully AI-driven assessment and interview platform, on my own: an event-driven architecture orchestrating multiple LLMs, AI agents and MCP-based tooling, now serving 20+ enterprise clients. I build the same class of systems for clients through Axionry's AI product development services: LLM applications, autonomous agents, RAG pipelines, and AI features embedded into products you already run.

What does an AI product development company actually build?

We build production LLM applications with model routing and cost control, autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents (including MCP tool integrations), and RAG systems that retrieve over your private data with real quality, not demos. We also build voice-enabled AI products (see Voice AI Development) and LLM features for existing SaaS: assessment, summarization, copilots and workflow automation.

Why hire a solo senior architect instead of an AI development agency?

Agencies staff juniors and bill seniors. With Axionry, the person on the sales call is the person writing the architecture. The track record is public: a solo-built B2B SaaS with 20+ enterprise clients, a published vendor case study, and infrastructure that runs at a fraction of typical cost. Small surface area, senior decisions, real cost discipline.

Engagement model

You can work fixed-scope (4 to 8 week builds) or on a monthly product-engineering retainer. Every build ships with observability, cost-per-request dashboards, and documentation your team can run without me; I architect myself out of the loop on purpose. The prices below are starting points: final pricing depends on your use case, the features and integrations involved, and overall complexity, so the most accurate number comes from a short call. You also get globally competitive pricing, senior US-grade engineering without inflated agency overhead.

Pricing

EngagementScopePrice
AI Feature SprintOne production AI feature in your product (4 weeks)from $10,000
AI Product BuildZero-to-one product: architecture → production (8 weeks)from $20,000
RetainerOngoing senior AI engineering + architecturefrom $6,000/mo

Pricing can be discussed based on your use case. Final price depends on scope, features and complexity, so the most accurate number comes from a short call.

FAQ

Common questions.

Straight answers. If yours isn't here, ask on a 20-minute call.

How much does AI product development cost?+

A single production AI feature starts around $10,000; a zero-to-one AI product runs $20,000 to $50,000 depending on scope. Final pricing depends on your use case, features, integrations and complexity, so we set it on a call. Either way it lands well below typical US agency quotes, because you're paying one senior architect, not an agency org chart.

What stack do you use for AI products?+

Node.js/TypeScript and Python, event-driven microservices, PostgreSQL/MongoDB/Redis, multi-LLM routing (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-weights), MCP for tool integration, deployed on AWS or Azure, usually mostly covered by startup credits I help you secure.

Do you build RAG systems?+

Yes: retrieval pipelines over private data with evaluation harnesses, hybrid search and cost-controlled embeddings. RAG demos are easy; production RAG that answers correctly is engineering, and that's the part I sell.

Can you take over an existing half-built AI product?+

Yes. Rescue engagements start with a one-week architecture and cost review, then a fixed-scope plan to production. Most 'stuck' AI products suffer from missing evaluation and runaway inference costs, both fixable.

How is Axionry different from a typical AI development company?+

Most AI development company engagements staff juniors behind a senior sales call. Axionry is one senior architect with a public track record: AccioMatrix built solo to 20+ enterprise clients, a published Retell AI case study, and infrastructure run at a fraction of typical cost.
