It uses conservative reduction ranges from real optimization engagements: right-sizing (10–20%), architecture changes (20–40%), credits and commitment pricing (up to 100% of remaining spend for eligible startups). Our own record is a reduction of more than 70% on a $200K/year bill; the calculator deliberately estimates conservatively.
