Regulation and data
CITRA's Data Privacy Protection Regulation governs personal data handling, and its cloud computing framework sets expectations about where regulated data may be processed and stored. Banking supervision adds a further layer for financial institutions. The effect is the same as elsewhere in the Gulf: the safest path through an internal review is a system where the data never leaves infrastructure the institution already controls.
Contracting and payment
You contract with an individual consultant based in India, invoiced in USD or KWD. There is no VAT to account for, and no local entity is required on our side. Whatever documentation your finance or compliance team needs from an overseas supplier is provided before work starts.
Working hours
Two and a half hours behind Delhi, with Monday to Thursday overlapping in full against a Sunday to Thursday week.
Is search a realistic channel for us in Kuwait?
No, and you should not plan around it. Volume for this kind of work in Kuwait is very low in absolute terms. This page is a credibility asset for a buyer who already has your name, not a source of inbound.
Can everything stay on our own infrastructure?

How is this different from hiring an agency?
An agency bills you for a team and staffs it with whoever is free.
