Website Development Company in Vancouver

The best Website Development Company in Vancouver, at the best available price.

$0 upfrontPay per accepted checkpointSenior engineer, no agency markup

A website is your hardest-working salesperson or your most expensive brochure. This is built to be the first: fast pages, search-ready structure, and a short path from first scroll to a call, booking or sale. Start free from one of our templates, or have one designed around your business.

Vancouver's technology sector is known for games and visual effects, clean technology and a growing number of SaaS companies, with large US technology firms running offices here. It is closely tied to Seattle, so many teams work across the border and share a time zone with the US West Coast.

Vancouver studios, clean technology firms and SaaS teams often sell across the border, so the website has to speak to Canadian and US buyers alike. I build Next.js sites with portfolio and showreel pages that load quickly, BC PIPA-aware privacy notices and analytics set up for both markets, delivered in checkpoints you approve one at a time.

What you get

  • Landing pages, business websites, ecommerce stores and scroll-animated showcase sites, built in Next.js
  • Fast loading and good Core Web Vitals, search-ready structure, metadata, structured data and a sitemap
  • Enquiry forms, booking, WhatsApp and call buttons wired in, with analytics from day one
  • Free templates to start from at axionry.com/templates, customised with your brand, copy and domain
  • Your domain, your hosting account and your code, with nothing locked to us
Customised templates from $1,000. Custom websites from $2,500, up to $10,000 for ecommerce and showcase sites.

Nothing payable upfront. You pay per accepted checkpoint, and thirty days of fixes are included after launch. Exact pricing is decided once we connect.

Invoiced in USD or CAD, payable by Wise or bank transfer.

AI Development Company

Vancouver's games, media and SaaS companies are adding AI to products people already use, and need production AI engineering more than strategy.

How you pay

Get it built at $0.

That is not a discount. It is when you pay. The work is split into checkpoints with acceptance criteria written down before anything starts, and each checkpoint is invoiced only after you have seen it and accepted it. No deposit.

$0 to start
You hold every dollar until a checkpoint is delivered and you accept it. No approval, no invoice.
Fixed cost, unlimited features
Or hire the team outright: one fixed monthly cost, unlimited feature development, any stack.
The engineer takes your call
The person on your first call is the one who architects and writes it. No account managers, no bench time.

A US agency quotes $50,000 to $150,000 for the same build and asks for 40 to 50% of it before a line is written. Account managers, project managers, sales commission and bench time. None of it appears in your product.

How it works

Three stages, nothing hidden.

01

Twenty-minute call

We look at what the site needs to achieve and who it is for. If a free template already does the job, you will be told so rather than sold a custom build.

02

Fixed proposal in 48 hours

Pages, features, timeline and price in writing. Template customisations are usually live in about a week, custom sites in two to four weeks.

03

Design, build, launch

You review a working site at each checkpoint and pay only after you accept it. Launch includes the domain, analytics, search setup and a handover so you can edit content yourself.

Working in Vancouver

What actually applies here.

Regulation and data

Most private companies in British Columbia are covered by the province's own private sector privacy law, PIPA, rather than PIPEDA. Public bodies fall under FIPPA, whose strict data residency rule was relaxed in 2021 but still requires care with personal information stored outside Canada. Companies selling into the BC public sector or health organisations should expect privacy impact assessments as part of procurement.

Contracting and payment

You contract with an individual consultant based in India. Invoices in CAD or USD, paid by Wise or bank transfer. Your accountant treats an overseas supplier in the usual way, and any paperwork they need is provided before work starts.

Working hours

Calls in your morning, Pacific time, and work handed over at the end of your day so the next round of changes is waiting when you start.

Does BC's privacy law differ from the federal one?

For most private companies in BC, PIPA applies instead of PIPEDA. The principles are similar: consent, reasonable purposes, security and access. We build to whichever applies, and your privacy officer confirms which.

Can you work across Vancouver and Seattle teams?

Yes. Both are on Pacific time, and the work runs through your repositories and tools, so a team split across the border is no different.

Can you start from one of your free templates?

Yes, and it is the fastest route. Pick any template at axionry.com/templates and it gets your brand, copy, photos and domain, usually live in about a week.

Do you build ecommerce websites?

Yes. Product catalogues, checkout and payments through Stripe, Razorpay or Shopify, inventory and order emails, built so the store stays fast as it grows.

Who owns the website?

You do. The domain, hosting account and code are yours, and you can edit content yourself after launch.
