Website Development Company in Toronto

The best Website Development Company in Toronto, at the best available price.

$0 upfrontPay per accepted checkpointSenior engineer, no agency markup

A website is your hardest-working salesperson or your most expensive brochure. This is built to be the first: fast pages, search-ready structure, and a short path from first scroll to a call, booking or sale. Start free from one of our templates, or have one designed around your business.

Toronto is Canada's largest technology labour market and its financial centre, with the major banks, insurers and a dense startup scene around the University of Toronto and MaRS. Buyers here are often banks, or companies selling to them, so security reviews and data residency questions come early.

Toronto websites have to satisfy bank-trained buyers and Ontario's accessibility rules at once. I build Next.js sites that meet WCAG 2.0 AA, which the AODA requires of larger Ontario organisations, with PIPEDA-aligned privacy pages and CASL-compliant consent on newsletter forms. Hosting can sit in a Canadian region if your clients ask where the site's data lives.

What you get

  • Landing pages, business websites, ecommerce stores and scroll-animated showcase sites, built in Next.js
  • Fast loading and good Core Web Vitals, search-ready structure, metadata, structured data and a sitemap
  • Enquiry forms, booking, WhatsApp and call buttons wired in, with analytics from day one
  • Free templates to start from at axionry.com/templates, customised with your brand, copy and domain
  • Your domain, your hosting account and your code, with nothing locked to us
Customised templates from $1,000. Custom websites from $2,500, up to $10,000 for ecommerce and showcase sites.

Nothing payable upfront. You pay per accepted checkpoint, and thirty days of fixes are included after launch. Exact pricing is decided once we connect.

Invoiced in USD or CAD, payable by Wise or bank transfer.

Software Development Company

Many Toronto companies need senior engineering capacity that can pass a bank-grade vendor review, which is exactly what a dedicated engineer working in your repository provides.

How you pay

Get it built at $0.

That is not a discount. It is when you pay. The work is split into checkpoints with acceptance criteria written down before anything starts, and each checkpoint is invoiced only after you have seen it and accepted it. No deposit.

$0 to start
You hold every dollar until a checkpoint is delivered and you accept it. No approval, no invoice.
Fixed cost, unlimited features
Or hire the team outright: one fixed monthly cost, unlimited feature development, any stack.
The engineer takes your call
The person on your first call is the one who architects and writes it. No account managers, no bench time.

A US agency quotes $50,000 to $150,000 for the same build and asks for 40 to 50% of it before a line is written. Account managers, project managers, sales commission and bench time. None of it appears in your product.

How it works

Three stages, nothing hidden.

01

Twenty-minute call

We look at what the site needs to achieve and who it is for. If a free template already does the job, you will be told so rather than sold a custom build.

02

Fixed proposal in 48 hours

Pages, features, timeline and price in writing. Template customisations are usually live in about a week, custom sites in two to four weeks.

03

Design, build, launch

You review a working site at each checkpoint and pay only after you accept it. Launch includes the domain, analytics, search setup and a handover so you can edit content yourself.

Working in Toronto

What actually applies here.

Regulation and data

Private companies in Ontario fall under the federal privacy law, PIPEDA, and federally regulated financial institutions also answer to OSFI, whose guideline on third-party risk shapes what banks ask of their vendors. Health information custodians in Ontario are covered by PHIPA. Canada's proposed federal AI law, AIDA, died when Parliament was prorogued in early 2025, so there is no national AI statute yet. Ontario now requires employers to disclose in public job postings when AI is used to screen or assess applicants.

Contracting and payment

You contract with an individual consultant based in India. Invoices in CAD or USD, paid by Wise or bank transfer. Your accountant treats an overseas supplier in the usual way, and any paperwork they need is provided before work starts.

Working hours

Four or more hours of daily overlap with Eastern time, calls in your morning, and same-day replies on working days.

Can our data stay in Canada?

Yes. We deploy into Canadian cloud regions in your own account, and models can run there too, so prompts and data do not leave the country.

Can you work with Ontario health data?

Yes, under the agreement your privacy officer requires for PHIPA, with data kept in Canada and every access logged.

Can you start from one of your free templates?

Yes, and it is the fastest route. Pick any template at axionry.com/templates and it gets your brand, copy, photos and domain, usually live in about a week.

Do you build ecommerce websites?

Yes. Product catalogues, checkout and payments through Stripe, Razorpay or Shopify, inventory and order emails, built so the store stays fast as it grows.

Who owns the website?

You do. The domain, hosting account and code are yours, and you can edit content yourself after launch.
