The case
Forty-one millimetres of 904L steel. The bezel is polished by hand to a black mirror, the flanks keep a vertical brush, and the whole case stands just 11.9 mm tall so it slides beneath a cuff.

Calibre V-412, our own column-wheel chronograph. 412 parts, a 72 hour reserve, and pushers that answer with one soft, certain click.
A navy sunburst built from eleven layers of lacquer, then lit by applied indices cut from solid white gold. Three registers, one date, nothing more.
Regulated in five positions to within four seconds a day and guaranteed for ten years. Made to be worn daily, then handed on.

Look closer
At ten times magnification the sunburst still resolves into clean, unbroken rays. Run the loupe across the dial and you will find no compromise hiding at the edges.

Manufacture · Neuvaux
Every Méridien is assembled, regulated and cased under one roof in the Neuvaux valley, where we have kept the same workshop windows since 1887.
Each one inspected under a loupe before assembly.
A full weekend off the wrist, still on time Monday.
Four hertz, for a sweep that glides rather than ticks.
Anglage, perlage and Côtes de Neuvaux, all by hand.
Cases are cut from solid 904L bar stock, then left to rest for a week before finishing.
Bevels polished at 45 degrees with wooden pegs and diamond paste, never a machine.
Twenty-one days in five positions and three temperatures before it earns a serial.
The watchmaker who cased it engraves their mark inside the caseback.
Engraving atelier
Type up to three initials and choose a hand. Our engraver cuts them into the caseback with a burin, the same way we signed presentation pieces in 1887.
Complimentary with every Méridien. Adds four working days.
From the owners
The pushers have a feel I cannot describe without sounding ridiculous. I start the chronograph just to hear it.
In daylight the dial is navy. Under a restaurant lamp it turns almost black. It is two watches, really.
My father's initials on the caseback, my daughter's name on the warranty card. That was the point.
Private appointment
Spend an unhurried hour with a Vessant watchmaker. We will size the bracelet, walk you through the movement under a loupe and pour a coffee while we talk.
